2026 Festival Vendor Information

Contact Chris Peters for information, [email protected]
GENERAL VENDOR INFORMATION
All booths are sold.  Contact Chris Peters to be on a wait list.
Vendor booths are available for individuals or small businesses who are selling gourds, crafted gourds, or gourd related supplies and tools.  Approximately 80% of what you sell must be gourds, gourd related or supplies and tools of any type that can be used on gourds.  Artist items must be appropriate for our event.  Vendor spaces may be outdoors or under a large tent.  Booth and table locations are not determined until shortly before the festival and are subject to change without notice.  You will need to provide your own tables, chairs, electrical cords and booth displays.  Neither Idaho Gourd Society nor Franz Witte have rentals available.  If your location is outside you can set up a personal tent.  You can use a tent inside the large tent but a canopy top is strictly prohibited.  You will need to bring your own electrical cords and you will be required to cover any exposed cords to prevent trip hazard.  Electricity is NOT available at all booth locations so please check with us.
This is an Application Agreement between the Idaho Gourd Society and those parties (private and commercial) who wish to exhibit and/or sell items at the Idaho Gourd Festival, to be held at Franz Witte Garden Center, 20005 11th Ave, Nampa, Idaho.  This agreement also covers vendor set-up.
  1. Vendor set up is the afternoon of Thursday, September 17, 2026 and must be completed by 6:00 PM.  Take down can begin at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 20 but must be completed by 5:00 PM.
  2. Vendors must be in their booth during the festival’s hours of operation which are 9 AM to 6 PM Friday and Saturday and from 10 AM to 3 PM on Sunday.
  3. Photography is allowed at this event and photos of your booth may be used by Idaho Gourd Society, Franz Witte or the American Gourd Society in the future.
  4. The Idaho Gourd Society reserves the right to ban items or exhibits that are deemed hazardous, inappropriate or in bad taste without consultation.
  5. Vendors agree to sell only those items/merchandise described in their application. Vendors shall accept total responsibility for their area with regards to safety, fire, theft, accident or injury to themselves or the public. The Idaho Gourd Society highly recommends each Vendor acquire Liability Insurance.
  6. Cancellations: Written notice of cancellation must be received from the vendor by the Idaho Gourd Society no later than September 3, 2026.  A $10 processing fee will be deducted from the vendor's refund. No refunds after September 4, 2026. If you paid online the convenience fee is not refundable.
  7. The Idaho Gourd Society and Franz Witte assume no responsibility for any property brought onto the premises. Due to security reasons you may not wish to leave valuables out overnight.  This agreement releases the above parties and their agents from liability because of any loss of damage to such property, whatsoever the cause.
  8. Should “Acts of God” or other unforeseen calamity cause the festival to be cancelled, immediate notice will be given to all vendors. A refund of all monies paid in advance will be mailed to the vendor within 45 days. The Idaho Gourd Society and Franz Witte are totally committed to hosting this event but shall not be liable for claims of lost profits, business, or any other damage if the festival has to be cancelled or rescheduled.
  9. Tax Information: It shall be the individual vendor’s legal responsibility to collect and report such tax as appropriate based upon the current published tax rate and laws.  Your name will be reported to the Idaho State Tax Commission as a participant in our Festival.
  10. YOU CANNOT SELL AT OUR FESTIVAL UNLESS YOU HAVE REGISTERED BEFORE THE FESTIVAL WITH THE STATE OF IDAHO TAX COMMISSION.
