American Gourd Society Judge Training Course

AGS Board Member and instructor, Terry Noxel, is coming from New York to teach the AGS Judge Training course. This is a valuable class when preparing to enter competition as it will give you the understanding of what judges look for. Plus, this is a wonderful opportunity to join with other judges to play a most important role in our gourd art competitions.

Wednesday, September 25th from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Location: Liz Meyer’s workshop at 72 N. Boundary, Nampa, ID (do not park in the cul-de-sac).

Bring your lunch.

YOU MUST REGISTER with Corlis Kent by September 14th in order to take this class. Contact Corlis: by completing the form below or by email at cdcemt66@gmail.com or by phone at 208-283-0659.

You will become an Apprentice Judge after taking this class for the first time. AGS requires certain judging activities before you can become a Certified Judge. Once you become a Certified Judge AGS requires you to re-certify by taking this course again (and fulfilling other obligations) to maintain your certification. More information about AGS’s judging program is available here.

If you commit to be an IDGS judge, the course cost of $20 will be paid by the IDGS. However, if you don’t wish to commit to judge at an IDGS competition, you will pay $20 for the course. You are welcome either way.
